The majority of the NZODN data is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution Licence.
Licence and use limitations will be included in the collection metadata and may be in the download cart when requesting data for download. By using any data you are accepting the terms of the licence and use limitations.

The NZODN, via one of its main objectives, encourages and develops the culture of data sharing across the marine science community of New Zealand.
When using data from the NZODN please acknowledge use and credit organisations involved in the collection of the data stream.
Full detail of the required citation and acknowledgement information will be located in the metadata of the data collection.
